Ammunition: The Musical explores the American home front during World War II, where women must go to work as men fight overseas. It explores the dynamic environment of an ammunition factory, focusing on women who adjust to a drastically altered daily life. The women come to enjoy their newfound independence—forming relationships and learning from one another, as the war rages on overseas. But what happens once the war ends? The women come to realize their lives might not be as bulletproof as they seem.
